Conditions of Hire

The hirer shall be responsible for:

  1. The cost of repair of any damage done to any part of the property including the cartilage thereof or the contents of the buildings which may occur during the period of the hiring as a result of the hiring.

  2. Setting out all the tables and chairs for their own requirement and returning them to the store. Using a trolley to move the stacked chairs and not dragging them.

  3. Ensuring that no alcohol is sold on the premises or outside on the patio or field. Over 18’s only allowed to drink alcohol.

  4. Switching on the fans if the heaters are on in the hall .

  5. Clearing away all refuse from the hall site and surrounding areas and taking it home. Not leaving food stuff in the hall, kitchen or fridge.

  6. Washing and putting away all crockery, cutlery and utensils used and leaving the kitchen tidy.

  7. Making sure all lights and fans are switched off before leaving. ( Toilet & corridor lights, hall & committee room heaters are on a timer so go off automatically).

  8. In line with current legislation the hall is a non-smoking environment.

  9. Bookings, payments and key collections must go through the booking clerk.

  10. Do not remove the furniture from the committee room.

    You have up to 48hrs before the event to cancel otherwise full payment will be required for the hire.
